Can't pick up drawings on Legacy beta

I have finished this game a couple of months ago and installed it again today as I saw that it has some new achievements. However, I have some kind of bug as the menu does not appear when I start the game. After trying a few things to fix this, as none of them worked, I installed the BETA 1.3.2, called Legacy for some reason. Started a new game, everything was fine but when I got to the first drawing I couldn't pick it up, same with the second one.

Can anyone please tell me if the collectibles actually work in the beta or if there is any way to fix the menu problem in the original game version? Thanks in advance.

have to necro this...
i have the same issue, cannot start the normal version, have to choose the legacy in betas menu, then drawings cannot be picked..

So is there is any way ?!? did this gone completely dead and devs never fixed?
