Is this a game breaking bug? I'm stuck

I've just got to the end of the puzzle piece chapter, collected the memory and went down the hole, only to end up back at the beginning of the playground chapter, back to the first time you go to the playhouse. I tried going to the chapter select menu but the next chapter had not been unlocked. What on earth is happening? Is there any way to get around this and has it happened to anyone else? I'm playing the Nintendo Switch version if that makes any difference.

I'm with you on this situation, I tried to play Chapter 3 again from chapter selection mode, but still being stuck here. I'm on Switch version, too. Have you solved this bug?
