Ending question (spoiler alert)

So at the end of the game the dude says no one believes him but he has a picture of the cult, so... that was a plot hole or what?

Yes. It's a plot hole. It's like never existed. It's funny because you are telling to take photo of everythng strange to have a proof. And Billy (guy that gives you keys to lookout) even know (more or less) as much as you at the end of game.

The ending could be better.

Even though it would be a bit of a cop-out, they could show an ending shot after you drive away in the RV of your camera having been dropped during the chase somewhere in the forest to tie up loose ends maybe... :/

This was the first time the ending really sucked to me for one of these games. The photos just felt like huge plotholes and it was like the pictures never existed at all, and people were so in denial that it felt like every single person was in on it, including your family

Replayed the initial chapter with Billy and he 100% knows there's a cult out there. He says something like "I thought you were one of them ..." when he rushes at you with a gun and his later conversations with you clearly imply he knows about them.

It's just a huge plot hole. I never really took these stories to be real, as I'm sure they're all just made up, but this one really makes it hard to believe. The other FtF chapters were more grounded in reality.

Yeah... I review positive the game but to be honest I feel a bit disappointed

I don't think Billy is a plot hole, he is probrably too scared of the cult to talk about to the authorities, and doesn't want to interfere with their business.
Now the photo stuff is really a little annoying.

This! I have no clue how dev overlooks their own final scene from the moment you take the picture which IS the cause for the cult chase scene (climax) it takes 3 MIN of gameplay to get the text blurb about not a single soul believing anything? It seems extremely hard to overlook, they prob rushed it.
