next time you go to work, start ranting about how the company sucks and threaten to kill your boss.. if you are in school then start ranting about how the school sucks and threaten to kill the principal
see what happens.
You can still buy it on the code avarice store
I tried to run it on my laptop back before the game was on Steam, and it was unplayable with a 4500mhd.
On topic, the dev made a lot of gamers angry at him, are we sure he really was the one behind the tweet?
yes, and he keeps digging himself into a deeper whole.. watch it at @spooderw on twitter.. more fun than the actual game!
Well, this is somewhat similar to how, in Indie Game: The Movie, Phil Fish threatened to murder his ex-business partner several times. Except that wasn't on social media, and the ex-business partner wasn't Gabe Newell.
Or how Tommy Refenes was pissed that Super Meat Boy wasn't on the front page of XBLA. Except he didn't tweet that he wanted to kill the CEO of microsoft.
No one would blame him for being pissed that things did not go smoothly with the release.
Most would even excuse him if he wrote, "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Gabe Newell!" or "Valve is a piece of ♥♥♥♥" or some other colourful insult on social media.
However, to allow that anger to manifest in the form of a death threat like that crosses a line that most, even when most pissed, would never cross. It is a line that cannot be crossed. As another poster wrote, he is a "loose cannon". He's unstable and unfit for civilized society so long as he maintains that kind of attitude.
He just needs to say sorry to Gaben and beg him to reinstate the game.
