Where to fish for ghostface?

For the fishing side-quest I've found everything but a ghostface. Anyone know where to fish for one?

Where did you find everything else? I've found anglerfish walking fish and pentapus after fishing in several different areas and those were the only special ones I found in each area.

You can for sure get black dragons at Silent Isle. Shrimp (erroneously called "red shrimp" in the Notes) you can get from lots of bodies of water, like from the water just before you get to Junkyard entrance (one map before). Other special fish I got from the water just past the pigs/warthogs caverns which are south of SGS on level 1.

Also be aware that the Notes section does not list every kind of fish Geezer Ford actually wants you to catch. For example, minihead is a type of fish you can find that Ford wants to see when you talk to him but it is not listed in the Notes.

I'm looking for Ghostface too, but also the Phantom Jelly. I've found all the other fish, any advice?

Well... guys... I don't think that will help you much but I found Ghostface in the Deep Caverns.

No actually that helps a lot. Definitely not at that point in the game yet but I know where you're talking about.

Where are deep caverns ? Game has no map and besides station names i have no idea what location i am in....

Deep Caverns are the very last area of the game, and you're not going to be able to go there for a looooooong time.
So unless you've already done everything in Lower and Upper Underrail, don't worry about the ghostface for now.

I've fished all fishes except ghostface before act2 aka armadilo parts. Keep fishing after for a while no luck, seems ghostface is in deep caverns only, which is superdumb if you ask me.

Well i havent got phantom jelly yet, i have been everywhere in caves but not luck fishing it.

I fished alot of phantom jellys in the caves, where you do Milton guy quest. Part of caves avaible before obtaining TNT. Jelly is rare tho, might also require higher DEX to increase the chances to catch it, but i doubt. In those caves you can fish everything except ghostface and maybe shrimp, doesnt really matter which room you are, at least i didnt see a difference.

Confirm phantom jelly can be caught in the caves where milton is. I caught 3 in one sitting in the area you first see water when you enter those caves from south of SGS. That was with 4 dex plus one from food. I caught shrimp in one of the pools in Junkyard. Someone suggested that the fish loot pools are randomly generated and that might be true; i found 9 species, except ghostfish, around SGS. It would be dumb if you can only get it in DC; maybe it's just very rare? The whole fishing mechanic is very annoing for a single player game.

Btw, i have very low azuridae and big pig odditie drops; i'm in Core city, farmed some bugs for the shells, and the first odditie i got form them was in the arena. Sitting at 1/3 1/3, this is my second char, first one maxed them very soon. Anyone noticed this as well?

Styg mentioned in one topic that he didnt do anything with oddities drop rate, someone already asked same question. I also had 1/3 psi brain for a while than got 2 more in one of the cave rooms so it's just low droprate / luck.

yea...but it still rewarding for a skilled biologist, since there are stuff like black dragon poison that avaible only from black dragon and other usefull components. Also fishing random items might be really high quality, i even once fished an oddity lol...

Thanks for telling me where to fish Jelly. I already tried areas near Milton couple of times. It seems i have no luck then... Maybe i will try one more time after i get Ghostface.
