please add a vsync off option

Despite the description (and my experience with the previous games), I thought the cherry bombs were supposed to instantly scare all the boogeymen (and probably also reset the doors that were open. It's been years since I've played the first two). But it's doing neither. There was even a boogeyman walking towards me and I was spamming the cherry bombs and the flashes did nothing!...

the game crashes starting a new game, help
