how do i lock my camera in a spot

I don't know if you can do that or not, and I don't know if this will help or not, but you can press and hold Z to free move the camera around your character with the mouse (though it will rotate your head still so you still won't see your face well)... There are some settings that I occasionally open on accident that I think I have seen something about camera in, but I don't know how to open them as it's not something I do on purpose. xD Perhaps ~ or one of the Function keys... Have you looked in the regular menu's settings/options?
