It seems if your Documents folder name has non-english letters, game cannot save. I have the same bug, look here about it: http://steamcommunity.com/app/250320/discussions/0/810938082326872572/#p2

It's a pity the developers do not take people with other language pack OSs into account. I just hope it will be fixed asap.

I created another profile in my system. Now my progress can be saved. Sorry for bad English.

The profile name must be written only in English letters

I've only got english letters in mine. But seems that the game doesn't support UNC paths in it either....

Great, there went 78mins of playtime :( Thought they would have learned from the savegame issues with TWD *sigh*

and a temp fix is to create that folder path. The bad thing is now that it doesn't use the unc path on my server :(

Spoke too soon, the game still tries to write to the real my documents and not the %userprofile%\documents one which would be found as it's manually created. :(
