The Wolf Among Us OST - 181 Tracks (Download Link Inside)
Hey guys, I spent a bit of time doing this; I've put together a custom OST with all the extracted music files in the game.

Original thread with lots of important notes about the way I laid everything out.[forums.ffshrine.org]
Direct download link[mega.co.nz].

PLEASE NOTE! The files for the game are 80kbps. This is the original quality of the audio. If you see any "rips" at 192 or higher, somebody has just recorded the audio of the game, or is lying about the actual bitrate of the original files.

Enjoy, guys :)

As long as you're not attempting to profit from this (as many people do on filesharing sites) then I don't personally have an issue at all..

However, you should be careful posting that on here as you are infringing someone else's rights by redistributing their intellectual property without their explicit permission. Not worth the potential risk in my humble opinion..

you should of asked the telltale games if you could do this...but, either way. what's done is done and as long as the creators as cool with it, which they haven't stated yet. then you should be fine.

Ripping OSTs has existed for years. I don't think I've ever seen anybody meet any legal consequences for extracting/recording game music and sharing that. If there is an official OST that needs to be bought, there might be moral implications, but so long as you add your own tags and album art, I believe sharing these files fales under fair use.

Most importantly: I never EVER profit from my soundtrack rips. I've been doing this for years, and not once have I ever charged money, using an ad link or put up a donation button. I do this entirely for my own entertainment, and so that other people can get complete soundtracks.

You guys might want to look at FFShrine. It's a forum that's really old, where hundreds/thousands of dedicated individuals share new soundtracks daily. There's a booming community dedicated to getting the best quality audio from their favourite games. Unlike other individuals, though, I make sure I never share any files which I haven't personally extracted from the game and modified.

Three other things;

- I've seen multiple threads in this community hub requesting the music, and I wasn't going to let that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on YouTube with his fake recordings get away with it. People deserve the exact music from the game as the developers originally imported it.
- Telltale does not release the OSTs from their video games (or, if they have, they were extremely limited). The only exception to this I ever saw was the GOG.com version of the Sam & Max games, and that was A) A bonus they were giving away for free and B) one of the worst OSTs I've ever seen.
- I never ever rip or play illegally obtained games. I bought a retail copy of The Wolf Among Us (or, more specifically, I was given it as a Christmas present). I will only rip a game if I actually own it, and I have an expectation that the only people downloading my rips also own the game (I have been meaning to add a "If you like the game/OST, buy the official one!" tag to my rips.

It depends on the developers, but it does as Scott the creator of fnaf games stated on a issue were content was ripped outta their game fall under "amounts to piracy" but most of the time developers do not do anything about it because they can understand why people would wanna listen to their music. This ussually comes with a reply from them just offically releasing the soundtrack to the game. either way though. The devs have full control on whether to take legal action or not. But, most of time they don't because they can solve the issue easily without doing that

Well it definitely seemed from your initial post that your intentions are only good. My post wasn't an attempt to tell you what to do or anything, more of a heads-up to be somewhat careful on Steam specifically.. just in case.

Peace! :)

Yeah, sorry if I've come off as a bit aggressive. I just really enjoy making these albums, and I haven't run into issues as of yet. If Telltale did ask me to take it down, it would be done without question.

Nice and thank you! The devs should have released the OST, would gladly buy it.

Thanks for this, and yeah if there was an official soundtrack I'd also gladly buy it - amazing music in The Wolf Among Us.

There are a lot of free converter programs available on the internet to convert them easily.

Um, I just downloaded the OST pack and all of the files were .mp3 files... did you mean something else instead? a different format maybe..

The only other files contained in the archive are audio file playlists (those are the .m3u ones at the end of each list); but the music files are already in .mp3 format.

But, I like the program called Goldwave.. but it was one of the older versions. I didn't care for the newer ones. I will try to find which version I've got and let you know...
