Bigby, comic vs game. [SPOILERS]
If Bigby was anywhere close to his power level in the Comics, he'd easily win that fight at the end of act 3. I mean, he would retain full control even in full wolf form (he's about 10 times bigger as a wolf) and would regenerate almost instantly from the bullet wounds (apart from the silver bullet), and would be able to huff and puff Dee, Dum, Mary and the cars away all at once with his North Wind power.

I don't think they portrayed Bigby well to be honest. In Wolf Among Us he seems to be angry or pissed off at people all the time, in addition to being unable to handle 2 armed thugs at the funeral. In the comic, he's largely feared by all but the most devious and usually keeps a cool head even though he's always butting it against Cole, and you don't see him throwing his weight around like he does in the game. One scene in particular irked me with this, which is the one with Flycatcher.

Firstly, Flycatcher doesn't voluntarily work as a janitor. He does it because Bigby keeps arresting him for eating flies in public or some other ridiculous charges to keep him doing community service as janitor at the woodlands because otherwise Fly would be fixated on his dead wife and child at the hand of the adversary and somehow attempt to "save" them, instead of looking for a job at Dee and Dum's.

Secondly, Bigby getting pissed off at Fly is very out of character. He doesn't have a real reason to, he or his loved ones weren't being threatened, which was the only condition where you'd see Bigby pissed off in the comics. Overall, as a fan of Fables, I'm a bit disappointed by Telltale's lack of faith of the source material, even though it's a decent story while it stands alone.

Now, I understand that it's inspired by Fables, but I just want at least the protagonist to be accurately portrayed. And no, the maturity argument won't fly, considering that he's been doing the job as sheriff for CENTURIES, and the events of TWAU and Fables are at most several decades apart.

While that is Bigby's reason for continually giving Flycatcher public service. It isn't until he fully regains his memory years later that he considers going after his wife and son

That is the one problem with Bigby as the protagonist and potentially he isn't being presented exactly as he is in the comics. There is of course an element of segregation between gameplay and story however. On the other side of that though Bigby as a boring invincible hero may not be that good to play as either.

He's hardly invincible, just really tough. The only person without godlike power or magic weapons that came close to killing him was Goldilocks. Besides, as shown in the comic, Bigby is pretty much a god in his own right, even though he denies it. Having a god being beaten down by two shotgun blast to the chest in a parking lot and still be wounded in the morning is a pretty big difference.
I'm not saying he is just a phrase to describe it.

As a non-comic reader, this is my first reaction. Overpowered main characters make for boring stories.

If he went full wolf the mundies would see him.

I agree. Bigby was the oftentimes underestimated character due to his past. He was a detective, soldier and spymaster all rolled into one. This kind of portrays him as a beat cop with a touch of lycanthrope in over his head.

I am enjoying the story but I feel like comic Bigby would've figured this out awhile ago.
