Need help playing with a controler

I just bought the wolf amoung us and want to play it with my xbox 360 controller. I'm not seeing any place in the options menue that will let me change the interface from mouse to controler. So how do I do this? Also, i'm relitively new to the pc gaming world so if your solution is complicated (even remotely so) please explain it as simply as possible.

you should be able to just use it, assuming its plugged in to yr computer or connected to a plugged in dongle

well ive noticed a coupple threads here saying thereve been issues since episode 2 was released, so you may just have to use m&k

I'd recommend making sure the controller is plugged in and on before you launch the game. Generally that fixes unrecognized controllers for me.

It should automatically use the controller as the input providing it is detected.

Can the PC version use PlayStation controller buttons, or will it only show XBox controller buttons? I have tried MotionJoy to try it as PS3 controller, and XBox using XInput. The game opens, but it doesn't let me use the PS3 controller even using Xinput when every other game works fine with either with MotionJoy.

Another thing for the keyboard, is there any buttons you can press to select 1 of the 4 dialogue choices? I tried pressing buttons 1-4 on both the numpad, and the top number bars. The Function keys, and other things. Those do not let you select them(for me anyway.) So is there 4 buttons you can press to quickly choose which thing to say instead of using the mouse?
The mouse is a bit too slow when there is so little time to read, and then choose.

I don't know about the controler suport it all seems like a mess right now. Hope they fix it for episode 3. Sorry you have to pick the responces with your mouse. Try changing your sensitivity.

why not simply buy the PS3 version of the game? the PC version is going to come with PC configurations, you can't really expect them to change PC spec to be more like a PS3 spec, of course there will be issues like sensitivity, this is a PC version of the game, and what is the point of playing this game with controler, if by nature it's a mouse/keyboard game.
