Crooked Man's True Identity
Did anyone have a sneaking suspicion it was gonna be Mickey Mouse?

In all seriousness, it seems like its captain hook. What do you guys think?

No, it's The Crooked Man from the poem regarding him. It won't be Hook as he's not public domain.

Yeah... the Crooked Man is The Crooked Man. No hidden identity or anything.

Did anyone think for a split second it could of been Tiny Tim? Maybe I'm a horrible person, but I thought maybe their was a connection with him being in crutches and the Crooked Man's origin with the Breaking Wheel/Catherine Wheel?

Not when both them have twice appeared in the same scene.

Oh yeah, I meant like right when he shows up to walk Bigby down the hall. For a split second I suspected him and didn't trust him. Actually I still don't really trust him...

Well there isn't too much of a connection as Tim has always had the injury as it's part of his character and as he states the reason he is working for The Crooked Man is because of that injury no-one else will hire him. So far he comes off as the token good member of The Crooked Man's operation.

For a lot of us, the crooked man's story is not as well known. So that let some of our minds wander as to who he could have been before they introduced him. The way the Fables comic and the game so far has portrayed characters (such as Georgie). it wasn't completely foolish to suspect Tiny Tim for that split second.

If you delve into the politics of Fabletown, with the main office not providing for everyone and a certain black market picking up the slack for those less cared about, I could easily see someone like Tiny Tim in such a dark universe be the Crooked Man - had there not actually been a Crooked Man. If nothing else, it explains why he's there. Let's just hope there's no Batman Begins Ra's al Ghul moments ahead - I certainly don't want to beat up poor ol' Tiny Tim, what would I tell his dad? :)

I wonder if the Crooked Man have anything to do with the Adversy

At the moment I think it even may be a character that hasn't been introduced yet. Or the butcher. Haven't seen him interacting with Bloody Mary and the others yet...who knows how the real hierarchy is built up? If I understood it correctly, the butcher isn't a Fable with a story.

The butcher has a story, it's a rhyme.

Rub-a-dub-dub,
Three men in a tub,
And who do you think they were?
The butcher, the baker,
The candlestick-maker,
They all sailed out to sea,
'Twas enough to make a man stare.

Ok, didn't know that. Interesting!
