Game Length

I'm thinking of getting this, what is the length compared to the first season of TWD? Or at least the first four episodes since this game only has four at the moment. I've heard that the second episode was ridiculously short and if the rest aren't much longer I may just hold off for a while.

Going by howlongtobeat.com and the average YouTube playthrough, I'd say you can expect about 7 hours out of the current 4 episodes.

I'm at 11 hours, but I've done a second play through, and rewound a couple of scenes I screwed up on.

Each episode is about 90 minutes play time, so the entire season would be about 7 and a half hours.. Given you do need to replay some scenes to get all of the achievements, theres a good 10 hours worth of play time in a single run through.

Hm.. I think I'll hold off in that case, I'm not entirely sure the story would grab me like TWD's did, and with the smaller playtime it just wouldn't be worth it.

I think the story is comparable if not better than the walking dead. I wouldn't pass it up because its "shorter"

It's the length and the story, not just the length. I'm just not as interested in the fantasy/fairy-tale esque setting as I am a zombie setting.

About 10 hours in 4 chapters and I need to replay to earn the collectables achievments. Not bad.

About the length of a Call of Duty and/or another AAA title honestly.

And if you're worried about the story, it's safe to say that I'm enjoying this much, much more than The Walking Dead. I loved The Walking Dead, but I just feel like Season 2 is a bit of a let down, and as of right now, The Wolf Among Us is filling that void. Also, it's not really a fairy-tale type setting as much as a dark, run-down city. Honestly, coming from someone who was kind of weary of this game, and who loved The Walking Dead as GOTY, I'd say it's definitely worth the investment.

I think, in my opinion, that the story is better than the walking dead's, but that's just my opinion.
