Unless Telltale go the route of having multiple endings, and then just establishing one of them as the "canon ending".

I don't know about canon, as I don't know the comic, but I don't want them to kiss each other. It wouldn't see fitting. It's a drama story, I don't want them to exchange more body fluids than what's good for it and possibly spoil the deeper themes of redemption, faith and the likes.

So? A good relationship needn't always include massive amounts of body fluids to be exchanged. Hollywood thinks differently, but that is a different topic.
