Bigby's father is the North Wind giving him his huff and puff, his mother was a giant wolf if I am right, his fathers powers allowed him to transform if Bigby started training to transform at an early age, but instead Bigby prefered Wolf form keeping him stuck like that forever until he saw Snow White (before they knew each other) who was the Adversaries prisoner, he then freed her and she eventually used the Lycanthropic stained knife to allow him to turn human, and giving making him part Werewolf (I don't exactly wonder why part Werewolf but that's what he is).
That's Beast not Bigby.
It was said to beast but the witch did mention Bigby.
Bigby doesn't have a glamour though his ability to transform his due to actually being a shapeshifter but due to various reasons can only now take on forms related to a wolf.
Beast however until certain events in the comics doesn't have control over his transformations they are effected by Beauty's moods.
Yea sorry I had no idea how to frase the upgrade the witches did to beast and bigby so i just called it glamour. The reason why bigby couldnt transform into other things because he didnt want to learn it. He despised his father and wanted to be more like mother. ( You probably know this) Yet the witches did say that they upgraded bigby in some way so he can control it, and they offered beast the upgrade due to his new position
