Game crashes on startup. HELP PLEASE!
I played all 4 episodes when they were released and did nothing to the game in between them, now all of a sudden my game crashes when I try to launch it, it's just a black screen and I can't do anything.

I've tried the .dll fix and it didn't work, I'm running the game as an administrator and running in windows 98 compadibility mode and it's still not working.

I've also heard that by pressing alt + enter it will go into windowed mode and you can adjust the resolution, but when I do that it just makes Steam go into big picture mode.

I can't play the game at all I need help, Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

You're not alone here, I'm experiencing the same. I'm trying to get through to Telltale support but they're notoriously terrible in that department. I had heard they were bad but I wasn't expecting this

I've been waiting almost 24 hours for a reply and I only got a standard email of "Do this, or this, or that" full of things I've already tried.

If I get a proper reply I will write again here, I hope someone else knows what's going on

Thanks so much, and I'm currently also experiencing difficulties with Telltale's site. I tried making an account and I can't get them to send a verification email, I've hit resend multiple times and I have used 2 different emails and have gotten nothing from them. I think it might be a server issue or something.

I'm not sure about that, I got the email without problems yesterday. They seem to only have a guy for tech support, which is ludicrous because he seems to be replying arbitrarily to people's posts

Sure, the games they make are great but that's not an excuse to have such deficiencies when it comes to tech and customer support!

It's certainly annoying, but what's even worse is that I thought I was the only one with this issue, I'm not seeing anyone else having any problems.

Anyways thanks for the help and I'm just gonna have to wait until they get off their ass and start helping people with issues.

I'm having the same problem with my siblings computer. She's trying to play the game via shared account but when she loads it up the game just shows a black screen and basically the computer crashes. Haven't found a working fix yet.

My whole computer doesn't crash, I have to cntrl alt delte and the hit back to get back to the desktop though. It's pretty bad, I'm really not sure what happened. All of the other 4 episodes worked just fine.

Oh man lucky. Her's crashes which makes it a pain because we have to hard reset every time.

Mine crashes, I get to the "Click anywhere to start", the game kicks me out and that's it :/

I don't even get there, I start it up and all I get is a black screen.

Nope Mine still crashes. I love paying for games and they dont work at all. anyone have any other ideas. I have disabled all my anti virus and my firewalls. I have reinstalled the game severel times.

HELP HELP

It worked! Thanks I have no idea what's the issue still but at least I can play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game now. Thanks for all the help you really saved me.

Give it a few minutes, It may look like your game crashed but just give it a little while and see if anything changes.
