Of course, shooting him point blank with a bullet would have been way more gaurenteed. I guess her confidence and playful nature got the better of her?
It makes no sense she saw him take several shotgun pellets without much issue, why would she think that glass could stop him? Let alone a Silver shard aimed no-where near his heart.
Edit: Replayed the segement it was just a piece of glass that she used either that or they just didn't emphesize that it was a silver shard enough.
That said, I don't think she's dead-- I mean, I just can't see any reason why she couldn't have escaped at any point during that madness, whether through her crazy teleportation or just by dipping out and letting the clones cover her escape.
Working theory: Bloody Mary has a sort of twisted crush on Bigby and always wanted to provoke him to see what he would do-- she could have killed him several times, but merely tried to slow him down to keep up appearances with the CM, plus to have her fun. And she will continue to pursue him in Season 2! BigbyXBloody <3
