So who left Lily's head at the woodlands?
OK, so Nerissa left Faith's head there to get Bigby's attention. Fair enough. If that's the case, then who left Lily's head at the woodlands - and why? It doesn't make sense for it to have been Nerissa, because Bigby was already on the case, and Georgie would have wanted to hush up the murder, not lay it out in the open. The only thing I can think of is that the Crooked Man wanted to make the most of the circumstances and ordered an underling to do it, in order to lead Bigby to the hotel room and depose Crane, creating a chance for him to seize power for himself. But that still doesn't really fit, because Crane was in the CM's pocket the whole time anyway. Maybe the writers just couldn't think of a way to factor in Snow's head between episodes 1 & 2.

Does Nerissa know Bigby is already on the case? She left one head, she can leave another.

Probably Nerissa, because it furthered the investigation.

Well, you'd think they would have mentioned that during the final scene - it just seems weird to me that she'd confess to leaving Faith's head specifically but not both.

Leaving Faith's head implies leaving both, but in any case she was making a point about leaving Faith's head, she didn't have to do it about both.

True, but she was very emotional. It's easy to forget every detail.

Someone else mentioned in another thread that Nerissa smiles at you in episode 2 when you enter the Puddin' n' Pie. That's really the first time she knows you're actually on the case. So no reason not to leave heads until you get the hint. :p

Well I am also curious about what TJ said, that when somebody was getting rid of Lily´s body that somebody said: "Stop laughing at me" I mean who was it and what is that even supposed to mean?

That was Georgie speaking, and Jersey Devil was the one laughing. If you listen at the Crooked Man's door in episode 4, they more or less admit it. It also lines up with Georgie as the murderer.

The one thing I'm curious about is why did the Crooked Man want to go to the woodlands?

I think he has people there also working for him which means that in S2 we will probably have access to go there or at least see it.

I'm not sure what you mean - the woodlands is the luxury apartments and we see it every episode.

Oh, I missed that. Good to know :)

But then again...wouldn´t they notice that head is missing or something? It seems that leaving head of Lily was arranged by Crooked Man and his goons rather than Nerissa... but then again... how the hell did she get Faith´s head? Wouldn ´t they just get rid of both heads?.... There is something really fishy about this....

Which I don't get either:

Lily and Crane meet in room 207 of the Open Arms hotel and do the deed. Then Crane leaves and takes the key with him (because Bigby finds it in his office later). Not long after this, Georgie goes to room 207, pulls the ribbon off of Lily's neck which results in killing her and splashing huge amounts of blood all over the bed.

And then what? Logically, he takes the head and drags the corpse outside (there are bloody drag marks on the floor), disposes of her body in the river together with Jersey (this is backed up by the "Stop laughing at me!" line that both TJ and Bigby overhear by the river and the Crooked Man's hideout respectively).

But how does the head get back to the Woodlands? And why is the door of room 207 locked when Bigby goes there to investigate even though Crane took the key with him and Georgie killed Lily AFTER Crane left?

Is that just bad writing or did I miss something?

Edit:

What if Georgie catches Crane and Lily while they're at it, kills her and forces Crane to come with him and Jersey to the river to dispose of her body? I mean, TJ doesn't know who or how many people were at the river.

I won't say everything directly cause some head-cannoners may get agitated and get this thread ruined like the other one, but I still want to help you out since you are atually thinking about this case, so here are the things to consider when making a theory:
1) Who, when and why changed the lock on door 207?
2) Crane visited Lily early in the morning (he went there right after player's first meeeting with him), body was dumped in the night. There was a 8-12 hour gap, so did the killer get her right after Crane left, or closer to the night?
3) There is a small bruise on Lily's neck, as well as blood splashes on the wall and the clock, and we saw with Vivi how does the ribbon do it. Struggle traces?
4) Who, when and why changed Lily's dress
5) Why kill her in that room, only because she was sleeping? Was she, and how could the killer know for sure? Also, if she was sleeping, where would the struggle traces come on(maybe it's not from a struggle).
6) Last, but not least, how was the body carried past Beauty? Why the trail ends at the door?

Also, as a side note, it could help to decide whether Lily was actually missing for 2 weeks, or if it was just Holly's imagination.

PS On game files there are unused dialoges where Bigby actually asks Narissa about Lily's head in the end(and she gives him an answer). Those cannot be really trusted since they were removed, but you can still check those with 'telltale speech extractor' program.

Who put the photos in the closet of room 207? Was it Lily herself? and if so, how come neither Crane nor the killer(s) found it? Was Lily supposed to blackmail Crane for help that day and that's why the photos were there?
