Similar game titles to Wolf Among Us?

I loved this game, it is one of the best games I've ever played. I enjoyed the way I was in control of taking choices, to develop my character's personality the way I saw fit, and how these choices mattered. Now I'm stuck with nostalgia and waiting for Wolf Among Us 2 to be released. Meanwhile, I'd like to play other games that have very good story, choices matter and that I have a good amount of flexibility to develop the character the way I like. I've played other Telltale's titles (The Walking Dead season 1, Tales from the Borderlands) and although they are trully awesome, Wolf Among Us is still the best by far.

Are there other game titles similar to Wolf Among Us in those aspects? (trully great story, choices really matter, flexibility to develop character's personality etc)

if you like the graphics style check out ... beyond a steel sky , also look at a very old game that has been remastered ,........ grim fandango ...... very good and very funny

This post is a bit old - but you might what to check out "The council" - it might be it. It's not a perfect game but it does have some of the features you are looking for: choices matter and character personality....

The topic isn't old and the discussion is still on. I've played several games so far, but not a single one could beat The Wolf Among Us in quality. I'll take a look at The Council, thanks!

I'd recommend the Life is Strange games and Heavy Rain. Really great stories choices that allow you to shape the character and story.

i never played/watched it, but i think the first interactive movie ive known was "The X-Files Game" 1998. its not rated high.
i can make a joke(which is not quite a joke) and say call of duty, among others like it.
wiki has some titles listed.

...forgot the brand new cyberpunk2077. havent played it either. its not any good.
and there is this game "_observer". i just started it and uninstalled it, before it manage to... damage me. the story i have seen in there, has something in common.

I'd second the Life is Strange recommendation. And with a new version being released soon you should definitely take a look.

I disagree but it's your opinion so I won't press the matter. OP asked about similar games to Wolf Among Us and I think we can both agree the murder-myster/thriller in Heavy Rain is most similar.

there is nothing to do in heavy rain except for QTE'S,QTE'S, and QTE'S over and over again so boring

Beyond Two Souls and Detroit Become Human’s whole gameplay is literally QTE after QTE as well, games you claim are so much better than Heavy Rain, you’re really contradicting yourself here. Is it the story in Heavy Rain you don’t like? If so, that’s fine but when you say the gameplay is boring I really don’t know what you’d expect from a Quantic Dreams game.

there is a lot more to do in beyond two souls and detroit there is real gameplay and you have freedom in those games not in heavy rain

If you're in it for sort of freeform mystery solving, Lamplight City is good.
