(SPOILER) Ok... What is the ending about???
I mean as I understand it Nerissa is Faith with glamour and she wanted to kill the crooked man. So the crooked man was innocent and we killed him for her?

What are you guys thinking about this ending?

Yeah, i think this too, wtf...
In the ending, Faith is talking to you, disguised as Nerissa. Note that they share a turn of phrase (you're not as bad as they say), and the reference to the donkeyskin girl disguising herself that also gets repeated in the final scene. These things point to it being Faith under glamour.

The "Faith" who was murdered was actually Nerissa glamoured as Faith. Remember earlier in the game that it's mentioned that the girls glamour as each other to cover shifts. Perhaps Georgie got duped by this, and Faith just lucked out. Or maybe Faith betrayed Nerissa after she betrayed Faith and Lily. Remember the story in the end, where "Nerissa" admits to confessing the escape plan to Georgie? This may be Faith trying to justify tricking her friend into glamouring as her, and then tricking Georgie into murdering the wrong girl to save herself.

The Crooked Man was never innocent. He's a pimp, a slaver, a murderer, an extortionist. He's a crime lord, the sort of jackal that comes around to feed when things go rotten.

I just wanna know if it affects season 2 and when it's coming out...

This being relevant in season 2? I highly doubt it.

PS. There will be no season 2.

Never? There hasn't been any news or any suggestion of it occuring since the first series ended.

Agree. The Wolf Among Us was the best of all telltale games - but unfortunatelly we will never see a second season. Which is really sad.

That is not entirely true. On their official site it's said that game wil come in 2019. Even after what happend to telltale, I still hope the game will be released. Maybe not by them, but still... :steamhappy:

Also, the first time you can use the magic mirror in the first episode, you can ask for the whereabouts of Faith. The Mirror doesn't tell you that she's dead, as everyone believes, but just tells you that he can't show her since some powerful magic prevents him to do so, and he says "these lips are sealed".
This shows that the magic involved is that of the ribbon, and also that the real Faith was still alive. The Mirror in fact has no problem whatsoever when it comes to show dead individuals, like when you ask about Faith's father.

Man, it sucks Telltale went under, their games are amazing, and they should have made one more. ♥♥♥♥ their investor that backed out causing them to be dismantled.
Man, the ending. I feel so weird when a game takes me by surprise. I honestly didn't see this being Faith. Since there probably won't be a sequel, I assumed this was leading into a larger scheme with Faith working for someone to subvert the Business Office and government. Maybe even playing the long game with killing or spiriting away King Cole (6 months prior to the game events?). Faith could have been working for Rose Red? Executing the leadership both good and bad, throwing them into chaos and then picking up the pieces in the fallout? Or moving chess pieces in that long game.

All conjecture or BS maybe from my mind. I could be just pulling at strings. I loved the game though, felt far more consistent, well paced, and interesting than other games by TellTale. I'm not much of a TWD fan, Batman was okay but different, and GoT was great until Episode 5.

Played this a long time ago, but if I remember correctly, it's as simple as "She wanted out, she used you, and in the end she got what she wanted...but did she get what she deserved?". It's a Noir story, with a chainsmoking hardboiled investigator, a femme fatale, organized crime, deception, corruption in officials, a night club, and so on. This is just off the top of my head, but if you visit https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FilmNoir, you'll probably notice quite a few more.

If she was to be involved in TWAU 2, which will sadly probably never get made now, it would probably be as a few lines of dialogue about her and a file you can access.
