Buster Jam, a game that seems significantly larger in scope than BOOM! Buster has been announced to come out in 2026, and the release date of BOOM! Buster hasn't been confirmed on the steam page yet. The Tallglass site says that "BOOM! Buster will return to development in 2026." What happened? Am I wrong and Buster Jam is significantly easier to work on? Is there some old spaghetti code that needs to be cleaned up on BOOM? Is it simply a matter of what the devs are currently more passionate about?...
