If you need ME2 save files they are stored at your PC in your documents. (sorry, if i made too many mistakes)

Problem is they are not there that's why i was wondering if there was a way to pull the save files from cloud.

Unfortunately not since this game doesn't use Steam's cloud.

Yeah probably the best bet. If you can't find one with the exact choices you can always download the closest match, then after you import it into ME3 and gain control use the Gibbed save editor to change them.

Yeah they need to be in the ME2 save folder.

There is a guide here on how to name your folder in the ME2 save folder and put the save in there - http://www.masseffect2saves.com/import.php

I don't know what to tell you then, that way has always worked for me.

There is a Genesis 2 DLC for ME3 but it's just as useless as the Genesis DLC in ME2.

You can always use the ME3 Gibbed Save Editor to create an ME3 save from scratch choosing the ME1 and ME2 options. (Or if you want, tell me the choices and I'll create one for you, note that I can't see anywhere to choose an ME2 romance though except Liara from the LotSB DLC)

You then import this save into ME3 by choosing import an ME3 character instead of Import an ME2 character.
