Game stuck on loading screen after entering Omega 4 relay.

So my game's been working fine, but every time I try to start the suicide mission I get stuck on the loading screen. It doesn't freeze, it just loops over and over and nothing actually loads.

I've tried verifying the game cache and reinstalling the game, but nothing has worked.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Very late response, but if anyone else is having this issue, I found a solution that worked for me. When you have patch 1.02 installed, get patch 1.01 and let it overwrite the 1.02 patch.

No more loading screen crash for me at that particular point anymore. At fileplanet.com you can still download this 1.01 patch.

I'm about as late to this thread as you, but I actually just encountered the same problem earlier this week. I have the game installed on Origin, do you think your solution will still work?
