Door Bypass Puzzles Giving My Mouse A Headache

Bought the game on sale...totally pumped....I get to my first bypass door which is a simple timed game of memory but my mouse is going completely whacko...its all floaty and I have trouble clicking the icons to the point where I fail this kids game probably 5 out of 6 times.

Beat the first one only to encounter anouther one about 10 minutes later. I have loaded the game up about 3 different days to give it a few goes and I fail each time....my mouse is so floaty in only that screen...everything else in the game works just fine.

So I googled fixes and found several other people have had the problem back in the day with no real fix mentioned.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Id hate to drop the game over some annoying mini game but I definitely do not enjoy doing these puzzles with the issues Im having....also how many can I expect in game? If it is just a few I suppose I could try to tough it out.

There are no mouse settings in the game? Check the launcher also.

On Illium there is an option to buy doubletime for it - I usually jump at those but turned that one down. The hacking is the one that I have the most trouble with. Kinda gives me panic attacks.

Never had that problem. Like the other guy said, there is a thing to double the amount of time you get. It costs 25,000 credits I think. There are an insane amount of hacking and bypass minigames in ME2, probably more hacking though. There are several for doors that you have to go through to progress, but otherwise most of them just give about 3000-6000 credits. Some give more, some less, and a few have upgrades, but it might be worth avoiding them and not getting a headache over it.
