Romance Help | Liara/Thane

I'm new to these 'forums' but it's the most friendly place I can think of to ask for help on. I don't have ME on steam, I have it all on ps3, but I'm just asking for help here because it's easier.

See, I've been planning to have one last playthrough of this trilogy, I recently sold my xbox for some PSN cash to buy all the DLC for the ME games, and I plan on doing that. But I have a 'small' issue with perfectionism in games, in that I'm planning every choice and decision I'm gonna make before I even start, and I'm just a little stuck on the romance side of things, overall I don't care about spoilers because I've played the trilogy several times, only not with the DLC and I haven't used imported saves yet, which I plan on for this playthrough.
I'm going to, at least for now, use the Genesis DLC to substitute playing ME1, because that game along with most older games unfortunately have an annoying graphical issue where my eyes hurt to the point I'm in tears and extreme pain for playing in sessions longer than 30 mintues. The playthrough will be a femshep.

But down to the main issue, I plan on through the Genesis DLC having romanced Liara in the original Mass Effect, and then I plan on romancing Thane in ME2, there are roleplaying reasons I've come up with but ultimately it's because I do admire Thane and want something different from always romancing Liara in every playthrough. The problem introduces itself with ME3, where Thane inevitably dies . What I'm thinking I want to do is stay true to Thane until his end (these spoiler tags might be a bit redundant I'm realising now) , but ultimately I'd like to finish ME3 with a Liara romance, maybe. I'm unsure about it, but I want info to help make a decision.
Firstly, I'm interested to know if you can "rekindle" the original relationship with Liara from the first game, in other words I'm interested if the game recognises you've romanced her before if you romanced someone else in ME2, and if it lets you get back together with her under the knowledge that you have been together in the past, or if she even forgives/understands the Thane situation.
I'm also aware that there's some romance content involved in the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC for ME2, and I'd like any information on that too, not too worried about spoilers, my perfectionism just wants answers. Also on the LotSB content, I may have watched a few videos on youtube and I'm a little confused, as it has people talking about having destroyed the collectors in past tense, as if it has already been done. But I was under the assumption that the final mission is final . Does this mean the DLC content technically takes the place of an epilogue, like the Arrival DLC? I've read somewhere that you're allowed to do the LotSB content whenever you please in ME2, but this is just confusing things.
Pretty sure there was something else I wanted to say here but I've forgotten, I might just add it later.

Even if you don't have answers to the above questions or any information to share, I'd also appreciate some advice on how to go about the romancing in ME3 if you have any opinions on it.
