Game crash on Illium

I'm on Illium right now and when I got to try and do the Thane and Samara quest the game crashes. It's fine for the rest of Illium: Liara's office, the market, and the lounge where you start Miranda's loyalty mission. But when I enter the door below Liara's office the screen goes white and it crashes.

What's happening?

the first thing you should try is changing graphic settings so it runs better. if not then reinstall and if all else fails contact steam support

I had a crash in this exact spot, i restarted the game and it was gone...
Try to check the integrity of your game files, reinstall maybe?

Disabling the Environmental Shadows worked for me. Also tried Disabling Dynamic Shadows. Also worked. Either one. I prefer leaving Dynamic Shadows on, and Disabling the Environmental Shadow option didn't seem to change much.

Verified, disabling the environmental shadow option only worked for me. Man that is an annoying bug, likely related to Shadow Broker DLC.

The fix that I used that got me past the issue on Ilium is also the same fix that will correct the crash that happens in Mass Effect 3 for the Priority Horizon quest.



Resolution to 800x600

Window ( no Border )

Turn off Bloom

Turn off Dynamic shadows

Turn off Environment shadows

Turn off Film grain
