Cannot get past barrier

Hi,

I am doing the archangel quest and have to close the three shutters. I closed two but the third one seems to be unreachable. It is behind a barrier. My henchman jump over it but since there is no jump button while walking how do I get past it?

I could easily jump over it... if I only I could :-(

Which one are you talking about? From the middle shutter, is it the left area or the right one? If its the left one you should just be able to press Space to get into cover and simply just hold W and Space and you'll jump over it.

You can hurdle over barriers by just running towards it and pressing the spacebar. It will make Shepard vault over the barriers.

Thanks, the 'forward' and 'use' button worked! Wonder why they just didn't use the jump button, anyway I can finally continue.

Having the same problem as you. Spacebar does not cause jump function. I assigned the forward and use keys to the same finger. was my problem had to reassign key. Wish the game would show (hold forward + use) vault.

By default, vaulting is forward (W) + double-tap jump (spacebar).

Looks like someone didn't pay attention to the beginning hard enough.

Like... the game forces you at the beginning too, lol

Gotta crouch behind it, then hurdle it. Can't do it from walking.
