Starting Lair of the Shadow Broker
Do i need to do a side mission after finding the observer to receive the Mail from Cerberus to start the Mission? Because ive done everything except Reaper IFF.

Judging by my saves, the mission should certainly be available by now - wiki says it should be available after Horizon. Is the mail in the archived messages? Is there an option when you speak to Liara?

-It is available after Horizon.

-It might require an email opening? Not sure.

-The 2 sidemissions for Liara are locked out after you start the DLC, so do them first. Finding the Shadow Broker should be a conversation option that starts the content.

-DLC fits in best in either a lull of content, or post-game. I like to do it at the very end of my Loyalty Mission spree, as it is essentially Liara's 'Loyalty'. Alternatively I do it post-game but as the 2nd last thing to do, right before Arrival DLC.

Something bugged, then. Though your profile states you are from Germany. This is from the Mass Effect wikia[masseffect.wikia.com]:
"Due to technical issues, Lair of the Shadow Broker is not available in parts of Central and Eastern Europe, although players from these regions are able to install and play the DLC if they are using the English version of the game."

Curious as to why you would say that. There's some good content in the DLC.
Unless you are anti-EA, in which case I understand completely.

I actually just finished that mission on my current playthrough. The map screen says something like "Give Liara Intel". Have you tried running the installer for that DLC agian?

Why is it a waste of money? Most people say that it is the best DLC for this game and I agree. I also like how we get a ton of information about our squadmates.

It's totally the best DLC for the game. I wholeheartedly agree, and I've tried them all. What the hell does that have to do it being worth the money? They cheaped out sooo much on the ending if you romanced Liara in ME1, they made her into an overconcerned a-hole who won't fight collectors with you... Need I go on? The DLC jars terribly with the ME1 Liara. It's a different person.

So you say it's not worth the money just because Liara doesn't act the same way she did in ME1? I thought it fit really good with the ME2 and ME3 Liara. She has a huge character change after ME1. It looks like Bioware with only let you have a relationship with someone in only 2 out of the 3 games.
The stuff and information you get at the end does increase the value. I enjoyed reading all of the data and it helped me understand the characters more. It also seems like it is the only mission where I can keep profiting after it is over.
