ME1 - Kaidan (het), Liara ('bi')
ME2 - Jacob (het), Thane (het), Garrus (het), continue Kaidan (het), continue Liara ('bi')
ME3 - continue or fresh Kaidan (het), continue or fresh Liara ('bi'), 'continue' Jacob (het), 'continue' Thane (het), continue Garrus (het), Samantha (♥♥♥♥)
There are also semi-romances that don't interfere with the rest, like Kelly in ME2, Diana in ME3, and more. There are also particular somewhat-romances that rely on doing certain things and not having a full romance activated, like Aria in ME3 Omega DLC, Samara in ME3 Citadel DLC. I won't get into all the possibilities here though, so the main point is that if you want a full romance thing, your options in the trilogy (keep in mind you can do stuff like romance someone in one game and aim for another available in a game after it) are: Kaidan, Liara, Jacob, Thane, Garrus, and Samantha.
Thank you for info. Very detail. Since I only play as female Shepard and I don't like romance a guy, Liara seem like the only choice for me, lol.
You can start with Liara in ME1, continue or end it in ME2, and continue or end it in ME3 - if ending it in ME2 or ME3, going to Samantha.
Liara is the best romance option anyways, you get the best story with her and interactions.
I think the Garrus romance is best. ::shrug::
If you prefer women, Liara is certainly good. And I also like Samantha. You can get somewhere with Samara if you're a paragon and get the Citadel DLC. I don't like that one just because it seems out of character for her to have a romance with anyone at that point, but to each their own.
Kelly and Diana are not really romances so much as meaningless sex, if that makes any sense. You can also have sex with the Consort in ME1, but it won't go anywhere. Funny, but I can't think of any men that are disposable sexual encounters like those. Anyway, Aria is a kiss if you're a renegade and get the Omega DLC, but I wouldn't call that a romance so much as a moment.
