Armor Customizing
Hello,

I played and beat the first game Mass Effect the other day, and now I'm starting to get into this one. I was wondering, where is the option to visually toggle my helmet in this one?

I find the cutscenes much less enjoyable without being able to see Shepard's face. The vast majority of the cutscenes in this game seem to include his armor and helmet.

Hello there. You can change your armour on shepards personal cabin on the normandy. Go to the elevator, and go to the cabin. Inside, you will find an armour custimization locker. If you don't know what it looks like, its a hologram of a floating N7 armour. Approach and interact with it.
It is important to know that you can not only cusomize your helmet, but other parts of your hardsuit as well. These upgrades can be purchased in the citadel, tuchanka, and on omega. Make sure to upgrade often, especially on higher difficulties. If you also installed the DLC armours from the the bioware social network or are running this game on origin, you can also choose completly diffrent armours! Each reap their own benifits.

Enjoy!!

Thank you for the response. I knew of the customizing module, but wanted to toggle my helmet visibility on the blood dragon DLC armour. Turns out I can't do that, so I just have to be okay with non-DLC armor and use one of the helmets that shows Shepard's face better.

One of the DLC sets has individual pieces, the Kestrel armor, so you could still use the Kestrel set over the boring N7 set, and then use one of those helmets that shows the face better(not the Kestrel Helmet, oddly enough, it's one of the worst for face-covering). It's the main reason I use the Kuwashii Visor, since I don't do enough headshots for the +10% headshot damage bonus to matter.

I agree with you on the sentiment. With how much conversation matters in these games, covering the face with most of the armor sets is a bit misguided.
