Fuel, Resources & Probes?
Isn't Fuel, Resources & Probes a problem in Mass Effect 2 because if you don't have the credits for fuel or probes, you're hosed.

Thats never been a problem for me. I always tend to get enough of everything so that never happens.

to survive the suicide mission you need three upgrades silaris armor something shielding and the thanix cannon which come from jacob tali and garrus repsectivly which require certain resources which requires probes and getting to the planets requires fuel

No. If you run out of fuel, EDI "teleports" you to the nearest fuel depot in exchange for some credits/resources. If you run out of probes, you buy more. If you run out of credit (you have to be extremely terrible at the game/resource management if you do that), you just do some missions.
But yeah, you have to check if you have enough of them. You know, that's the fucking point of it.

I do get TC's point, I think. There's a finite source of credits in the game, and if you get obsessed with depleting every world you come across, you may not be able to afford all upgrades from vendors. I've been having to be very choosy about which upgrades I buy, forgoing some of the upgrades for things that don't directly benefit my Soldier.

I've been on my first playthrough for years. I even pre-ordered this damn game, Collector's Edition and all, and I've still not beaten it. I even got all the weapons/armor pack and appearance pack DLCs. Every few months I get the hankering to play and jump in, do a few missions or loyalties, and then stop playing again. By the time I get to ME3, ME Andromeda will be out. I know all the main story beats, and ME3 sounds fun, but I just can't get myself to go through and finish it. Maybe I've had too much fun in ME2 to let it go.

Planet scanning is a good time killer when you want to play without really playing. So thus I'm always too broke to buy every upgrade in the game, like numerous tech and biotic damage upgrades. Those probes and fuel add up.
