Crash with Windows 10 (solved)

I am playing on a MSI Gp 72 Laptop (it runs at 60 fps at maximum) and until today it has worked perfectly well. But now (the mission onboard the collector vessel) it has crashed the two times i tried to play after just a few minutes. (I dont have any other software running in the background).

But this way it´s simply not fun anymore and i would even prefer my old laptop on which it only ran with 30 fps on minimum but never crashed...

Does anyone experience the same problem, or has even a solution for this?

[the problem didn´t occure after that mission morethan just about two times... It might have been something about triggering the second ability/singularity via cursor in the ability bar... I don´t know but it is solved then, I guess...]

Still on the exterior or on the interior not long after you enter? I have crashed there before, and just reloaded a previous save .

Right now I think it was something about that specific level... i don´t have any idea but it crashed wihtin that level two times, but not again in any other level beforeand after that mission.

btw: it was pretty far inside that ship.

But I´m kinda sure it was just about that level. I hope it does not happen in the suicide mission again...

My game never crashed except the mission on Korlus where it always crashes when I try to walk through a door in the middle of the mission. Maybe that's the one you mean.

No, it is not. I am still not sure what caused it because sometimes right that happened for no obvious reason, some other times it crashed when I just intended to use singularity from the ability bar and the cusor was over that button it just crashed. I do not remember whether the mission on Korlus was after the one I ment, but after and before that specific level onboard the collector vessel it worked perfectly well.

I was having random black screens and my game was crashing after Thanes loyalty mission. I solved the issue by going to the binary folder and right clicking on mass effect 2. From there i ran the troubleshoot compatibility test and it solved the errors. 13 hours of gameplay later and the game is running smoother than ever with no black screens or crashes.
