You can look forward to spending more on DLC than the actual game, considering that they're the same price when they were released. Very deluxe.
And the DLC that it does come with doesn't download with the game (on Steam). You have to create a profile and register your game on social.bioware.com in order to get your DLC.
DLC included:
Normandy Crash Site
Zaeed - The Price of Revenge
Cerberus Weapon and Armor
Arc Projector
Firewalker Pack
Deluxe Edition adds:
Collector weapon and armor
Incisor sniper rifle
Mass Effect 2 soundtrack
The Making of Mass Effect 2 videos
Mass Effect comic
48-page digital art book
Depends what you mean by download. If you want to go to the effort of purchasing them, the installation process is the same, regardless of which program your copy of ME2 is part of, (if at all.)
They're certainly excellent.. been playing this series over and over again for many years now, but whether or not it's worth a significant purchase is up to you. Of course, there are other methods of attaining the DLC, but whether or not they're legit and will work properly is another thing entirely.
Can't help you there.
The extras, like the soundtrack, artwork or a digital comic, should be in the Bonus folder of the default installation directory for each game.
As for whether they'll launch similarly, I assume the copy you already own isn't Steam-based, which by default bypasses the launcher menu and automatically starts the game.
This guy here is a great dude. Everything went well. Thanks!
I am also interested if you could help me as well. I have sent you an invite.
Add sent.Any help you can provide would be appreciated !
This guy is the real deal. Super helpful and genuinely knows how to make this work. He spent over an hour chatting with me while we got it working on my computer. 5/7
