Fortification vs. Shield drain

Hai Guyz,
I am doing Insanity with an adept. I got fortification because I did Grunt early. Also, I feel like 90% of my time is spent waiting for my shields to recharge. I just did Tali's loyalty mission . Which is better in your opinion?

Shield drain is better when you have shielded/synthetic weapons to drain from, but it isn't always so. Fortification gives you sort of a panic button, but it's long on cooldown. In overall, provided that Fortification works like Geth shield boost (fully recharging your shields and increasing them), I'd pick it (and swapped later for Barrier, since it's biotic power that benefits from upgrades), otherwise I'd stick with Shield drain
