Game is Broken. Galaxy Map
I have been playing for awhile and have completed all my loyalty missions except for Jacob Taylor. I am noticing that the Rosetta Nebula isn't even available on the galaxy map. So i tried buying all the star charts from illium and I checked the Galaxy Map and those didn't show up either! Do I have to start a new game? Is there a way to fix this bug by modifying the game? like in Coalesced? Or the save game editor?

I have noticed the the horizon mission is incomplete, it still says I need to "Defend the Tower' - "Survive until the defense tower comes online"
Can i edit the save game to make this marker be complete? Could that fix my galaxy map? cuz i know that certain areas in the Galaxy Map aren't accessible until you complete certain parts of the main story. Could there be a flag that isn't checked because of this quest bug?

Sounds from what you described that the game may have bugged/glitched.

Personally I have never had this happen to me. You could try to edit your save file but I would check Google to see if anyone has answered this on a bioware/EA forum

Otherwise I would just go back and redo Horizon. I have no idea if this post helps you

I have the same problem. I'm looking for the quest flag on the save file so the Arrival quest can trigger. I'm wondering if someone fixed it with the Gibbed save editor.

Okay, fixed it.

I loaded up an old save from when I played Horizon, completed the mission and saved. The Gibbed save editor I'm using has a compare tool. I checked the differences and changed one value to remove it from the journal.

Using Gibbed save editor for ME2 - Remove from Journal:

[TAB]Player > [TAB]Skills/Upgrades > MissionProgress > QuestProgress > click - Collection.. > Find "42" > click "Collection" in "History" > click "Add" then set value to 5

This fixes this difference: /ME2PlotRecord/QuestProgress/42/History/4: [NULL] NULL != 5

I found some other changes that could be related to the mission and changed them without issues, yet no aparent changes. I'm running a mod to trigger the Arrival (DLC) at a different time so I can't check if the Arrival trigger would be fixed.

These other values might have to do with properly ending the mission. There could be more but these were the ones that made sense comparing my current save and the two I used for comparison:

/ME2PlotRecord/QuestProgress/42/History/4: NULL -> 5 (the one explained above)
/ME2PlotRecord/IntVariables/255: 0 -> 1
/ME2PlotRecord/IntVariables/329: 3 -> 4
/ME2PlotRecord/BoolVariables/1867 False -> True
/ME2PlotRecord/BoolVariables/6053: False -> True

In Gibbed, IntVariables and BoolVariables can be found in [TAB]Player > [TAB]Skills/Upgrades > MissionProgress > Misc or just the Raw tab

Here is the pastebin for the full save comparison if someone craves some digging:

I've never experienced this on console, but one glitch that does happen fairly often is when you do the loyalty mission for legion at the end of the mission sometimes the enemies will simply stop spawning and you end up having to restart.

Hey protein, I know I'm summoning a dead thread, but I'm desperate enough to ask if you happen to have a list of the QuestIDs somewhere. with a somewhat legend/table of which quests/mission = what number/ID.

Hi, try this fix here that worked for me like a charm:
"For people with invisible star systems on the galaxy map (IFF Reaper, Jacob's mission, extra star systems from star charts and sidequests):
Mass Effect 2\BioGame\DLC\DLC_MOD_ME2Re\CookedPC\BioD_Nor_103aGalaxyMap.pcc
Moving that file out of the DLC folder (or deleting it if you want) fixes the issue."

Summoning dead thread part II:

I wondered the same but didn't find such a level-id mapping list nor looked into making one.

That's why I duplicated and loaded an old save where I was in a specific mission, completed it and then compared the two files with Gibbed to find the Id.

I don't know about the legendary edition but It might help someone.
