(SOLVED)Help: white screen of death

I've played through up to the point that i have nothing left to do but get the IFF, but I installed black ops 3, and then uninstalled it, and now whenever i try to launch ME2, i just get a white screen for a few seconds before it tells me that the game has crashed, windows is checking for a solution, etc.

If I launch from the .exe file in the game folder, i get that application load error. I've tried running as admin, compat settings, verifying files and reinstalling, and I'm still at a loss.

EDIT: I downloaded and used advanced system care, and it fixed this along with multiple other games i found to be crashing on startup
