Mass Effect 2 (2010)

My fish keep dying!
I've bought some really nice fish from the Citadel but they never seem to last past one mission. I feed them, of course, but they still die. Sometimes I feed them 2x, 3x even 4x before a mission and they still die! Am I overfeeding them?

I've read online that you can get Kelly to feed your fish if you have the sexy time with her, but I've already showed initial interest in her from the dialogue option, but she has shown no further interest in me since, or my fish, which is much more distressing.

Is it because I'm maybe seeing someone else at the same time, which I am, which is preventing her from pursuing an interest in me and therefore in my fish? I don't really care about Kelly, just my fish at this point. I've done enough playthroughs to have gotten all I want out of the various members of the crew at this stage, but I've never been able to keep my fish alive.

I know you're probably wondering why do I care so much about the fish in my cabin. The galaxy is at stake and you're worried about the fate of a few supermarket fish? Dammit, yes I am!!!
I've played this game for a long time and I've never figured out how to keep the fish alive. It's really depressing after coming back from a mission, wanting to wind down in the zen and tranquility of your cabin, only to be slapped in the face by a puddle of dead Thessian Sunfish!

Please, if anyone knows how to keep them alive, or get Kelly to feed them for me, help me out. Shepard can't save everyone in the Galaxy, but i'll be dammned if he can't save a few fish!

You monster. How could you let them die? They were depending on you. All jokes aside, you need to feed them once after every mission or assignment.

They'll be fine if you haven't returned to the ship between missions, but as soon as you're back on the Normandy, their lives are in your hands.

That is a lot of responsibility placed on my shoulders *sigh*. I miss the auto-aqaurium in ME3

Make sure always go for the most charming/flirting responses with her when talking about specific subjects and you should get dinner scene with her as culmination of it all. After that she should offer to feed the fishes while you're away in missions.

After that you can safely ignore Kelly for the rest of the game outside forced interactions.

What why even have a secretary? I thought that whole psychological thing was due to the illusave man checking the extranet dating profiles and matching you up? I mean he had 2 years to do this while you were offline.

I half expected that like in demolotion man, you'd get a hidden skill of being an expert knitter or something, but lacking that I figured at least Kelly was an objective rather than just an object.

I hope EDI didn't hear that. I don't want to have to sit through sensititivy training videos.
