Mass Effect 1 Save Not Found?

What does "please run the configuration utility to copy your saved games to the appropriate location" mean?

1. Go to ...\SteamApps\common\Mass Effect 2\Binaries
2. Launch the MassEffect2Config.exe
3. Click the Save Games button.
4. Click the Copy Mass Effect 1 Save Games button. The default location for your character saves should be in My Documents.
5. Once that's done, run ME2 as normal and choose the option to import your save. The ME1 file should be there.
