Mass Effect 2 (2010)

Does the movie "Mass Effect Paragon Lost" happen Before or After ME2 in the chronology?
I'm working my way through the ME series in chronological order and I'm really enjoying it. So far I've gone through Evolution, Revelation, He Who Laughs Best, and I just completed ME1. I really enjoyed it and wish to continue. I'm currently reading Ascension.

Most of the comics, novels, and games have a clear chronological placement that is reported on wikis, press releases, discussions, etc. but the movie Paragon Lost"is a lot more confusing.

The Mass Effect wiki says it happens after ME2's prologue but before/alongisde ME2's main story - so basically before ME2. This is backed up by many discussions I've seen about the movie.

However, other posts claim it takes place either between ME2 and ME3 or during the final chapters of ME2 - meaning I should watch it after ME2.

I know that it revolves around a character who doesn't appear in ME2, so its not super relevant, and I know that it might spoil some of ME2 but that's not an issue as I know most of what happens in the trilogy already.

So in conclusion, where does Paragon Lost fit into the timeline chronologically? I'd like to do it chronologically (even at the expense of some relevance) and I've purchased it so I'm anxious to watch it but if it definitively takes place after the majority of ME2 then I'll wait.

Thanks a lot!

if you want the quick search here you go
i did a quick search it seens paragon lost happens at same time shepard is working vs collectors when Vega gives intel about collectors it seens shepard already destroyed the collector base making vega's intel almost irrelevant (this quick search was done by reading youtube comments soo a cheap quick search)

it happens during the events of ME2. you should watch it after ME2 but before ME3. it recounts on the story of James Vega and his mission which is what is the basis for the conversations in ME3 with Vega and why he does what he does.
