Game Crashing On Start Screen [Solved]

After around 20 hours of gameplay, I went to my messages terminal and the game "froze". I could still look at the messages but couldn't mark them as read or exit the screen. I force-quitted the game, and from that point on, every time I get to the "Press Any Key To Continue" screen and press a button, the game crashes and says "Mass Efeect 2 Has Stopped Working".
Ive spent around 5 or more hours over the past 3 or so days trying to fix this.

The only thing I can think of that woul've caused this is that I downloaded NVIDIA drivers prior to the last time I played the game. I'm somewhat new to PC gaming, so trying to fix this has been a pain. Here's some things I've tried.

-Reinstalling the game
-Uninstalling the NVIDIA drivers
-Deleting last saved game
-Running in windowed mode
-Using the installers in the "redist" folder
-Many more things that I can't remember

Also, as of today, starting the game via the MassEffect2Launcher results in an application load error. Any help and suggestions would be appreciated!

After four long days of trying to find out what went wrong, I finally did it! It literally had nothing to do with NVIDIA or anything like that. Through trial and error, I found out the crash was save related so I looked in my save folder. I found two documents, a quicksave and an auto save document, both were 0 KB. I deleted those, started the game up again and it worked! If anyone has the same or similar problem, I hope this helps!
