Can't seem to properly start a multiplayer session

My partner and I tried to play the demo in a private multiplayer session, but, every time we both readied up, the host was put in the game, permanently stuck at "Waiting for players..." while the other player was left in the lobby.

Multiplayer Bug Fixes for a Smoother Festivity!

Our Viking chefs have tackled the last multiplayer issues so you can focus on cooking and celebrating without any technical interruptions.

Was wurde verbessert?

Clients can now initiate dialogues seamlessly:
We fixed an issue where clients were unable to start dialogues with NPCs. You can now interact with NPCs during your multiplayer adventures without a hitch and enjoy your culinary journey to the fullest.
Ein Problem wurde behoben, bei dem der Client keine Dialoge mit NPCs starten konnte. Jetzt könnt ihr in den Multiplayer-Schlachten problemlos mit den Wikingern interagieren und eure kulinarischen Abenteuer genießen.

Interactions are now player-specific:
The bug where the interaction key triggered actions for both players simultaneously has been resolved. From now on, you’ll only see your own tooltips, and your interactions won’t interfere with other players. No more overlaps – each Viking can now focus on their own tools and tasks!

New Features

God’s Drink
After much anticipation, especially following its preview at Gamescom, we’re thrilled to introduce the God’s Drink! In each level, you can now brew this special drink, inspired by our partner Nordmet. Learn the art of brewing by speaking with select animals who will reveal its secrets. Deliver the drink and earn double Odin’s coins!
For those who attended Gamescom and had a taste of Nordmet’s brew: now you can experience it in the game!

Pinning Recipes
We’ve added a new feature to help you stay organized! Now, you can pin essential recipes directly to your interface by using the alternate interaction with runes, giving you a clear view of your current tasks at any time.

Odin’s Coins on the Altar
The altar now shows the total number of Odin’s coins you’ve collected, making it easier to track your progress. Save up and see your achievements at a glance.

Optimizations

Font Updates
To enhance readability in certain parts of the game, we’ve replaced the rune font with a standardized one.

Improved Post-Processing Effects
We’ve refined the post-processing effects across various scenarios for an even more immersive visual experience!

Smooth Rune Fading
Now, recipe runes will fade out gently when you successfully complete a recipe, creating a smoother gameplay experience.

New Viking Chef Logo
Enjoy a fresh, updated logo for Viking Chef: Feast Frenzy, modernizing our branding and giving the game a visual boost!

Tutorial bug

Hello! I have a bug on the tutorial, it starts directly on the third recipe (the most complex) and skips the two first zones.
