Second Boss

I'm a bit stuck on what I'm supposed to do with the mechanical owl. Am I meant to jump and make him go higher, and then teleport through the opening? It worked once, but I'm not sure if that's the intended method.

You can teleport into his chest and give him a good whack in the heart, after that you need to avoid his attacks and do it 2 more times.

This boss is incredibly frustrating. The timing for blink seems to be extremely narrow, that or hit detection is way off.

Related question, I cant seem to get past that push of air he launches when he slams the ground, how do you avoid that?

Blinking through the shockwave when the bird lands is difficult as hell. 80% of the time I blink against the shockwave instead of through it :(

EDIT:

Yeah, I'm pretty certain that sometimes the shockwave is penetrable and sometimes it's not. I see my character bounce off the wave like a rubber ball off a wall. That even seems to accelarates his movement off the platforms.

EDIT 2:

And sometimes the shockwave does next to nothing. The chance of getting three (four?) of those in a row seems to be astronomically small though. I guess my only way to "win" this fight is to uninstall the game. Should have known after that pesky "Dodge this" room! Seriously: Some passages in this game - not the entire game - but some passages are pure masocore. There should be a warning label for this sort of thing. Some people may enjoy failing for hours but the rest of us need to be warned away!

Don't try to blink through the shockwaves. Instead, try to jump over them, and blink over the top of them. The lift you get from the shockwave helps you get the extra height. Instant 100% success rate.

Alternately, a shockwave will have no effect on you if you're climbing up from a ledge.

All things which are simple to figure out if you're not so busy flailing around and blaming the game on your mistakes. It's a puzzle boss, so it helps if you don't turn your brain off. (That's not an insult, that's from personal experience)
