Espresso Machine in Cabin

So I unlocked and crafted the espresso machine but it won't let me put it on a table or counter. I have tried different surfaces put nothing works, I can only put it on the floor. I checked all the categories too and don't see it. Is there something I am missing? Yes I know to click on the tables to put things on them.

I haven't made one yet so i can't test it but place your counter, then leave edit mode and walk up the counter and press the key for your hand icon then you might be able to place it.

I already tried this. In my last sentence I stated I know I can click on tables and counters to place things on them. When I do that, the machine doesn't show in the menu as an option. But I got some reason see it when I'm in edit mode for the cabin, and can place it on the floor.
