A personal gripe in regards to character customization.

This is possibly more of a "me" thing but regardless I feel like my suggestion would be something a lot of players would appreciate having.

Before I get started working on creating my character, I check the options available to me. I understand features like Mouths and Color Patterns being restricted to the various species available, but what I don't get are the Eyes being species-restricted, since the icons used for the Eyes options use a generic model across all six currently available species.

While I want to use the Bird species, I want to use the cat-exclusive "Cozy" eyes. It's because of this weird restriction to Eye options that some species only have six options at most and only four at the least. I feel like this restricts the amount of self-expression available to the player outside from the multitude of clothing they have on offer and I feel like players would appreciate having a bit more options to customize their characters from the get-go, especially newer players like myself.

This would be nice; I feel like the dogs have no real feminine eyes to pick from as-is.

I think its just to create more cohesive models, I'd love a little more freedom too but its to ensure you always look great!

I play the short-bunny with common fur so maybe my opinions on this aren't very valuable but I do believe the above post.

I actually agree, that and the fact that there are no eye colors!! I play as the 'lynx' type cat, I do not like the cat's eyes as they look.. Fierce? I wanted something a little softer looking. I also find it a little upsetting that some outfits do not go very well with the cat due to the tail! It disappears in certain outfits, and reappears in others. Like the hats, I wish I could toggle the tail on and off myself.
