I was able to copy a save to the local folder one directory up and replay the next day basically without the trainer and not having to start the game from the beginning.
Also please be aware that this issue is common with the watering can quest. You may want to make sure you have the unlimited items option turned off or not even have wemod on when starting these quests.
ty sm this saved me
How do you copy it to the local folder one directory or whatever you said? Like, where is that?
Copy whichever save is from before the glitched quest located here:
C:\Users\(YOUR USERNAME)\AppData\LocalLow\Sunblink Entertainment\Hello Kitty\Saves\76561197988675269\Backups
to
C:\Users\(YOUR USERNAME)\AppData\LocalLow\Sunblink Entertainment\Hello Kitty\Saves\76561197988675269\Local
you will have to rename it "save_0" and when you launch the game it should be working
Do I have to name it anything specific? Like .save or delete anything from the local or backup file? The saves in the backups are lbak files (or whatever it’s called)
you will have to switch the extension from .lbak to .save
How do I do that?
If you have it enabled you should be able to just type save_0.save and it will change, if not you need to enable "file name extensions" in the view menu bar in windows.
alr, do I need to delete the original one?
