Difference between Base game and Deluxe Edition?
Hiii i wanted to ask if the difference is huge or not with the deluxe edition?

Im waiting for spring sale just in case if the game get some disscount (probably not) so before to do something i have that question about the Deluxe edition.

I already watch videos about this game and i just can say is wonderfull and amazing. And probably i will buy the Deluxe edition, but im wanna make sure if there is to much difference or not.

The Deluxe Edition comes with a bunch of misc items that you can get in the game, but think of it more like a "head-start" once you get to them (they're unlocked through quests that are progression-locked). The key draw is the final quest unlocks a TON of old event items that you can still unlock through normal means as well, but you won't have to wait a year for all the events to come back and you won't have to use your event currency on them as much (so you can focus on the current year and not the past).

All in all, it's worth it for the headstart and great for meeting visitor prerequisites to get them to visit (you have a list of visitors that can visit your island, but they only come if you decorate their cabin/home with specific items - some of which only come from events). But there's nothing really 'exclusive' that you can't otherwise get. The game itself and all the gameplay is still the same! (:

(Also if you family share with someone who has the game or wants the game, only one of you need to buy the deluxe edition since you can just launch their deluxe edition, get the quests, then go to your own edition).

Nah everything in the Deluxe Edition can be earned in game over time! There's a few "Deluxe" items, but I believe you can get them from events as well - and they're 100% identical to the ones already in the game (like bouquet or friendship flowers that reset friendship gifts for the day, or island materials for the day). So you are not missing anything if you get the base edition - but the Deluxe Edition comes with so many event items (once you finish the quest) that imo, it's so worth it! But if you can wait for those events to come around naturally, then you're totally fine.

Not sure on any discounts but maybe we'll see some during the Summer sale? Not 100% sure how sale decisions go but it's definitely worth the price!

PS - Off-topic but saw you were playing SAR and I hope you enjoy the new SAW update coming soon ♥
The deluxe edition is a time saver perk,

It has all the past holiday event items from over 2 years of content available right away so you can only focus on getting the stuff added in the current years events. It would probably not be possible to get all the items from past events and the current event with the limited currency available to spend on them so without deluxe edition you could be playing years behind everyone else and be missing items for years to come.

I would just recommend to buy the deluxe edition for the extra cost its worth it to have all the past stuff and not have to worry about having to grind maximum currency everyday to attempt buy as much past and current holiday items as you can before the events end.

On top of that you get extra friendship flowers and items to give to others to help level up friendship faster.

Also unsure if its changed at all but the deluxe edition does not come as an upgrade or dlc to the base game so you need to buy it when you buy the game or miss out in the perks it brings.
