Is the deluxe edition worth it?

You get access to some items earlier, though you have to work to get all of Deluxe Edition content. What's really annoying though is it doesn't even contain one of each item for visitors, so you have to rely on shop RNG for wardrobes.

So, can you unlock the deluxe edition content by playing, or do you have to buy the special edition no matter what?

You can unlock everything in the deluxe over the year with the events that come back, you need to farm materials for the old items tho and its random ( i think ) which they will have in the shop but if you watch everyday youll most likely see everything

You need to beat various quests and make sure friendship is high enough. It will probably take a few days, since Hagyudon is locked behind flippers.

I personally think it did, i got a lot of items that let me basically "restart the day" so I could get farther ahead faster, plus alot of items from previous events, you do have to do quests to get to the furniture items though but just more content for gameplay :)

I'm curious how the valentines day works if you dont have the deluxe edition. With only 1 caterpillar (lovebug) a day spawning I don't know how you would ever get all the event items.

Honestly and personally yeah I think so. I made some early game mistakes (One of the gift advices is that Badtz likes waterballoons, so I used all my rubber to make him gifts) that stopped me from getting the snorkel and I was pretty bummed out until I remembered that the deluxe edition gives you a crafting bundle that just so conveniently has 50 rubber included. I was very happy.

Also this is a huge incentive to purchase, it really saves you a lot of time with gifts and materials

I got it but think it was a waste of time since I had to grind around 10h to unlock the items I paid for, however I think they fixed it in a recent update so you should get the items right away, I still think it was disappointing and the items and clothing are not that cute
