Question about Cabins and Visitors

I'm setting up a cabin for My Melody's Grandparents. Can I put both their items in one cabin, or do they each need their own cabins?

I found the answer to my question on discord, 1 cabin per visitor.

As you progress through the game you're able to upgrade your cabins to fit more than one. so, eventually.

You can upgrade your cabins into apartments where each apartment home can house 3 visitors. So no need to really pick and chose like ACNH. There's so many houses and cabins and if you upgrade each one x3 there's endless space for visitor and friend cabins.

You get a quest by My Melody to unlock the upgrade cabin feature once you're far along enough in your quests. Hope this helps.
