Crashing

I don't usually have issues with games crashing but for some reason it just keeps crashing, why?

I haven't had any crashes until today, there is a specific patch of land in the swamp where a spinip + 2 marshmallows can spawn. if I simply stand there, the game crashes every time.
It is the little patch of land west from the cemetery.

mine nearly crashes around that area too! The audio will start to lag and the game will freeze. Glad I’m not the only one (I thought something was wrong with my laptop)

Same here, replicated again and same exact spot. Beyond frustrating trying to use up my boquets and gather spinips.

Crashed twice in the swamp today as well, near the Spinips. Didn't use to be a problem until today.

I am someone who gets bugs no one else will get and i am not crashing period, Screenshot if possible before it closes otherwise start sending event logs, dropping hardware and driver versions and verify files usually when i see several people crash in one spot it would be the game but as i am not it could be something else.

i tried a few spots near here none of them cause me to crash but this is where i am thinking.

had tophat with me, it crashed now 4 times at the exact same spot

Hey, it's the go-to trial to get games running but:

- Try restarting steam before running the game.
- Try verifying games files / re-download the game fully.
- Try compatibility (win8 max).
- Try adding it to your firewall / run as administrator.
- Remove steam overlay (will prevent screenshot though).
- Remember to try updating your drivers.
- Try to change launch option (you can run the game in dx11 by adding -dx11 in the launch options).
- Also try to reduce graphics down if you pc may eventually be old.

I know it's the go to and not really specific to the game, but since i don't get any crashes i can only help by giving the base stuff to try around though.
Hope it can help some of you, if not, better to go to sunblink's discord server they have a channel for bugs and problems!
