Where are the save files?

If I wanted to make a backup of my save files, where would I find it?

Pls spell it out for me, I Googled it, and the path I found and tried to copy-paste didn't work. Thank you

Hit the windows key on your PC, type %appdata% in the bar and then hit enter.

On the window that opens up, you're gonna want to go navigate using the bar at the top backward to the previous folder, not 'roaming'. Then select the folder 'locallow', then 'sunblink entertainment', then 'hello kitty', then 'saves', then there'll be a folder with a name that's a bunch of numbers (click it), then 'local', then there are your saves.

I can find the game files and the saves but how do I upload them into the game? I just started the game normally and there is no data in the save files. Like my character has just poofed out of existence, I do use whisky through Mac to play the windows version. I’ve gotten error codes like 03008 and had to install an older version of steam through whisky, im just confused bc steam says my cloud is up to date and obv it isn’t when I start the game. sorry for rant, any ideas would be appreciated

I'm not sure if it works the same as other games, usually when I backup save files, I store them in a separate location, and when I want to re-use a backup save, I overwrite the current save with that file. So drag and drop the backup save into current save file so it prompts an overwrite, or delete current save and drag and drop backup save file where you the original save was.

And creating a backup save after each play through, then renaming it the date and time and other relevant details like events helps to remember what you saved

As far as I've understood with using backup saves, this is what I've done with my Palworld server saves

I also have not needed to utilize a backup save so, make sure to save your current save as well just in case if you try this
